Ayurvedic Recipes:
Cucumber Salad with Yogurt


Cucumber is a water-rich vegetable, helpful for the skin.

The cucumber and yogurt salad is a popular component of an ayurvedic lunch.

You will need:

  • 1/2 cup fresh yogurt
  • 1/2 cup grated cucumber
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • Rock salt to taste (optional)
  • 1 tsp finely chopped fresh cilantro


Whisk the yogurt into a smooth paste with a whisk.

 

Fold in the other ingredients.

 

Enjoy cool or at room temperature.

 

(Serves 1)
