Ginger Tea for Kapha


Ginger is a warming herb good for balancing Kapha dosha.

Ginger is a warming herb, good for balancing Kapha dosha.

You will need:

  • 1 cup pure water
  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger root
  • 1/4 tsp honey (optional)
  • 1 tiny pinch cardamom
  • 1 pinch turmeric
  • 1 pinch black pepper


Bring the water to a boil.

 

Add ginger, cardamom, turmeric and black pepper, turn off heat, cover and steep for 5 minutes.

 

Strain, stir in the honey and enjoy warm.

 

(Serves 1)
